Role Overview
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial reporting, tax compliance, and consolidation processes while supporting management with financial insights.
This role combines technical accounting expertise with strategic financial analysis.
Roles & Responsibilities
📊 1. Financial Reporting & Consolidation
- Prepare group financial statements
- Handle:
- Consolidation of accounts
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
🧾 2. Corporate Tax & VAT Compliance
- Manage:
- Corporate Tax filings
- VAT returns and submissions
- Ensure compliance with Federal Tax Authority regulations
- Prepare and review tax documentation
📈 3. Financial Analysis & Insights
- Analyze financial data and performance
- Provide insights to support business decisions
- Present reports to senior management
🧮 4. Audit & Accounting Processes
- Apply knowledge gained from audit firm experience
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards
- Support internal and external audits
💻 5. Reporting & Presentation
- Prepare financial reports using:
- MS Excel
- PowerPoint
- Present findings clearly to stakeholders
Key Requirements
🎓 Professional Background
- Completed training within an audit firm environment (highly preferred)
🏗️ Experience
- Strong GCC experience in accounting and finance
- Hands-on experience in:
- Financial consolidation
- Group reporting
- Intercompany reconciliation
⚙️ Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- Corporate Tax
- VAT compliance
- Financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in:
- MS Excel
- PowerPoint
