Planning Engineer (Civil)

Plus Seven Contracting LLC, is currently hiring Planning Engineer (Civil). The Planning Engineer is responsible for project scheduling, progress tracking, and coordination to ensure timely project completion. This role plays a key part in aligning site execution with project timelines, helping avoid delays and improve efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities

📊 1. Project Planning & Scheduling

• Prepare project schedules using planning tools
• Define:
  • Project timelines
  • Milestones
  • Activity sequences
• Develop baseline and lookahead schedules

📈 2. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

• Track project progress on a daily/weekly basis
• Prepare:
  • Progress reports
  • S-curves
  • Delay reports
• Highlight deviations and suggest corrective actions

🔄 3. Coordination with Site Teams

• Work closely with:
  • Site engineers
  • Project managers
  • Subcontractors
• Ensure alignment between planning and execution

⚠️ 4. Delay Analysis & Recovery Planning

• Identify delays and their causes
• Prepare recovery plans to maintain timelines
• Support extension of time (EOT) documentation if required

🏗️ 5. Project Type Exposure

Candidates with experience in the following projects are preferred:

• Villas
• Warehouses
• Townhouses
• Towers

Key Requirements

🏗️ Experience

• Minimum 3+ years UAE experience (mandatory)
• Experience in construction projects:
  • Residential
  • Commercial
  • High-rise

🎓 Education

• Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Civil Engineering
  • Or related field

⚙️ Technical Skills

• Knowledge of:
  • Primavera P6 (preferred)
  • MS Project
• Understanding of:
  • Scheduling techniques
  • Construction sequencing
  • Progress tracking
