Technical Infrastructure Chief Engineer

S.E.I.S is hiring an experienced and highly capable Technical Infrastructure Chief Engineer to support one of our prestigious government clients in the UAE. This role will be responsible for leading large-scale IT infrastructure operations, ensuring service continuity, and driving modernization initiatives across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all infrastructure operations, system upgrades, and modernization programs.
• Ensure uninterrupted availability and performance of government digital services.
• Oversee network operations, servers, storage, cloud infrastructure, data centers, and security controls.
• Develop and implement industry best practices across network, systems, cloud, cybersecurity, virtualization, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Ensure full alignment with UAE’s federal governance guidelines, cybersecurity frameworks, and regulatory compliance (including TDRA and NESA/ADSIC standards).
• Coordinate with external entities such as SOC (Security Operations Center), FedNet, TDRA, and various government stakeholders.
• Lead incident response, security reviews, and critical infrastructure resilience processes.
• Manage vendors, contracts, SLAs, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Provide technical leadership to internal teams and support strategic IT planning.
• Prepare reports, technical documentation, and performance dashboards for senior management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum 8–15 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including senior or leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in: Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, private cloud), Enterprise networks (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls), Cybersecurity controls & governance, Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), Data center operations, disaster recovery, and backup solutions
• Prior experience working with UAE government entities is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and federal regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage mission-critical environments with high availability and zero-downtime requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
