Position Overview

Al Geemi is expanding its team and currently looking for dedicated, experienced, and detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our dynamic workforce and contribute to ongoing and upcoming infrastructure projects across Abu Dhabi.

The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing and controlling all materials, equipment, and supplies used in road and infrastructure projects. This role requires maintaining accurate records, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring materials are efficiently distributed to site teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify materials delivered to the project site.
  • Maintain accurate stock records in the ERP system.
  • Issue materials to construction teams based on approved material requests.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure stock levels meet operational needs.
  • Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of materials in compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Track consumption patterns and highlight discrepancies or potential shortages.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the storage yard and warehouse.
  • Follow company safety and quality procedures at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of UAE experience as a Storekeeper in a Road and Infrastructure Construction Company (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Good knowledge of construction materials, tools, and consumables.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with site and procurement teams.
  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures and best practices.
