Job Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is executed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and approved drawings.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, consultants, and project managers to achieve smooth workflow and timely task completion.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.
- Ensure that all site activities are carried out following safety standards, quality protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in reviewing technical drawings, BOQs, and material specifications to avoid discrepancies and technical issues.
- Identify potential site challenges and recommend solutions to avoid delays and cost overruns.
- Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and verification of materials delivered to the site.
- Support the project team in planning, scheduling, and executing project milestones.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, project requirements, and client expectations at all times.
Requirements
- Must be currently based in the UAE or GCC.
- Minimum 3-7 years of experience working as a Site Engineer within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in building projects, infrastructure works, or civil engineering sectors.
- Strong understanding of site execution, drawings interpretation, technical specifications, and project coordination.
- Familiarity with UAE construction standards, safety regulations, and authority requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple site tasks while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or any related discipline.
- Valid professional certifications or memberships (if applicable) will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of project management practices is preferred.
Experience
- Practical experience in site supervision, execution, and coordination.
- Background in handling major construction projects, especially within the UAE market.
- Experience in dealing with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Proven track record of managing site progress efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
