Site Engineer (False Ceiling)

Job Summary:

Ginco Contracting Co. LLC is hiring an experienced Site Engineer (False Ceiling) to oversee and manage false ceiling works on project sites. The ideal candidate will coordinate site activities, ensure quality workmanship, verify design compliance, and supervise installation teams to achieve project goals efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily site activities related to false ceiling works, ensuring adherence to project specifications and approved drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams for smooth execution of ceiling works.
• Plan work activities, manpower distribution, material requirements, and equipment needs.
• Review technical drawings, shop drawings, and method statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure proper installation of gypsum, acoustic, metal, and decorative ceiling systems.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, and quality control.
• Resolve technical issues on site and provide solutions to meet project timelines.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all construction areas.
• Coordinate material deliveries, verify quantities, and ensure proper storage and handling.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover documentation related to false ceiling works.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Engineering, or related field.
• Professional training or certification in interior works, gypsum installation, or ceiling systems is an advantage.

Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience as a Site Engineer specifically on false ceiling projects.
• Strong background in gypsum board works, suspended ceilings, acoustic panels, GRG/GRC ceilings, and decorative ceiling systems.
• Prior UAE experience in fit-out, interior finishing, or building construction projects is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of false ceiling systems, materials, installation techniques, and finishing standards.
• Proficient in reading drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong understanding of interior finishing works and project sequencing.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office for documentation and reporting.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Good communication skills for dealing with subcontractors and consultants.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and site compliance requirements.
