Site Engineer

ATLAS GROUP is seeking a qualified and experienced Site Engineer to oversee and manage day-to-day construction site operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all works are executed safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project timelines, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain smooth workflow and timely project execution.
• Monitor project schedules, manpower allocation, productivity, and site progress.
• Prepare and submit daily site reports, inspection requests, work progress reports, and technical documentation.
• Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and identify technical discrepancies or clashes.
• Ensure quality control of materials, workmanship, and installation methods.
• Assist with material take-offs, quantity verification, and inventory control.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations and company policies.
• Support the Project Manager with technical inputs and preparation of handover documents and as-built records.
• Attend site meetings and contribute to technical discussions and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, fit-out works, and engineering principles.
• Proven ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
• Valid UAE Driving License (preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field from a recognized university.

Experience Required

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in site supervision.
• Prior experience in fit-out projects is highly preferred.
• UAE project experience is an advantage.
