Senior Architect

Full Time

KEO International Consultants, a globally recognized leader in architecture, engineering, and project management, is expanding its team in Dubai and is looking for an experienced Senior Architect to support world-class design and project delivery.

This role is ideal for a seasoned architectural professional with extensive experience in UAE high-rise and large-scale developments. The Senior Architect will play a critical role in coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors, while ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Role Purpose

The Senior Architect will act as a primary representative of KEO during the post-contract phase, managing all communication with clients, consultants, and contractors. The role involves reviewing architectural and interior design documents, ensuring alignment with project specifications, and supporting project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Client Coordination

  • Represent the firm in communication with clients, project partners, contractors, and design consultants.
  • Develop long-term professional relationships with clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure the delivery of all design and construction management services within contractual obligations.

Design Review & Technical Oversight

  • Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, specifications, and material proposals to ensure compliance with approved designs and project requirements.
  • Conduct technical assessments of architectural and interior design packages.
  • Ensure that all designs meet project standards, QA/QC procedures, and statutory requirements.

Project Management & Planning

  • Oversee project schedules across procurement, planning, design, and construction phases.
  • Ensure adherence to internal KEO processes, reporting protocols, and document control requirements.
  • Support the management of design & build procurement packages and large-scale project contracts.

Leadership & Quality Assurance

  • Provide leadership across multidisciplinary project teams to achieve design coordination and timely delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and recommend corrective measures.
  • Ensure all activities align with financial, quality, and performance objectives.

Communication & Reporting

  • Deliver effective verbal and written communication to all stakeholders.
  • Assist in resolving technical issues, design discrepancies, and site challenges.
  • Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and compliance summaries.

Qualifications & Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Professional certifications or licenses in architecture (advantageous).

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in architectural design, construction supervision, or project management.
  • Extensive experience with high-rise towers, mixed-use developments, and major building projects in Dubai/UAE.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million-dollar design and build projects.
  • Strong background in post-contract project coordination and design review.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methodologies, and building codes.
  • Strong understanding of project specifications, contract documents, and quality requirements.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard tools (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms-preferred).

Project Management Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple phases of complex projects.
  • Experience in scheduling, procurement oversight, and contractor performance monitoring.
  • Strong capability in coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
