Position Overview
China Harbour Engineering Co. Ltd is seeking a Recruitment Administrator to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This role is central to ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the company’s recruitment function. The Recruitment Administrator will manage the end-to-end hiring process – from job posting to onboarding – while maintaining high standards of professionalism, compliance, and candidate experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment coordination or HR administration, ideally within the construction or engineering sector, and a solid understanding of UAE labor laws and best recruitment practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting and candidate screening to final onboarding.
- Coordinate and publish job advertisements across multiple platforms (job portals, company website, LinkedIn, etc.) to attract top-quality candidates.
- Review resumes, shortlist applicants, and schedule interviews in coordination with hiring managers.
- Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure data integrity for all recruitment records.
- Liaise with department heads and project managers to understand manpower needs and develop job descriptions.
- Prepare and issue offer letters, employment contracts, and related recruitment documentation.
- Support visa processing, document verification, and pre-employment formalities in collaboration with HR and PRO teams.
- Assist in organizing recruitment drives, job fairs, and talent acquisition campaigns.
- Track and report recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, source efficiency, and candidate feedback.
- Ensure that all recruitment activities comply with company policies, internal audit standards, and UAE labor regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure all candidate and employee information is handled securely.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department as required, including employee onboarding and orientation activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in recruitment or HR administration, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
- Familiarity with recruitment software, HR databases, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Strong understanding of UAE labor law, visa processing, and employment regulations.
- Experience handling recruitment documentation such as offer letters, contracts, and onboarding forms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to international recruitment and blue- and white-collar hiring in the construction field is an advantage.
