Position Overview

The Quantity Surveyor (QS) will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, project budgeting, and contract administration for ongoing and upcoming roads and infrastructure projects. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of construction and civil engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for infrastructure and road projects.
• Conduct quantity take-offs, material estimation, and cost analysis based on project drawings and specifications.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor quotations and progress claims.
• Assist in the preparation of interim payment applications, variations, and final accounts.
• Collaborate with project engineers, procurement, and site teams to ensure cost efficiency and project compliance.
• Support contract negotiations and provide commercial advice during project execution.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in roads and infrastructure projects within the UAE.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software.
• Knowledge: Familiar with FIDIC contracts, cost estimation, and project documentation.
• Availability: Candidates who can join immediately will be given priority.
