QA/QC Inspector – Infrastructure

We are hiring a highly skilled QA/QC Inspector with strong experience in infrastructure projects and extensive involvement in project handing over and closeout activities. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a solid understanding of infrastructure construction standards, quality procedures, and site inspection requirements.

Job Purpose

To ensure all Infra works on site meet project specifications, industry standards, and company quality procedures. The role supports consistent quality control from start to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• The QA/QC Inspector must have proven experience in infrastructure projects along with full involvement in project handing over and closeout activities.
• Carry out inspections for infrastructure works including utilities, drainage, sewer, stormwater networks, road works, manholes, and associated civil structures.
• Check compliance with approved drawings, ITPs, method statements, and project quality plans.
• Review material approvals and verify that materials delivered on site match project requirements.
• Maintain daily inspection records and prepare clear reports.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Identify non conformities and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Raise and close inspection requests efficiently.
• Monitor site activities to ensure safe working practices and quality standards.
• Support internal audits and overall quality improvement.

Experience

• Proven experience in infrastructure projects, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
• Strong background in project handing over and closeout documentation.
• Excellent understanding of civil works, utilities, and road construction quality standards.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles for infrastructure projects.
• Strong exposure to utilities, road works, and underground services.
• Experience working with consultants and main contractors in the UAE is preferred.

Requirements

• Must be available to work in Al Ain, UAE.
• Ability to join immediately is an advantage.
• Valid UAE experience in the construction sector.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Certification in QA/QC or related quality courses is preferred.

Skills

• Solid knowledge of infrastructure construction standards and quality procedures.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good communication and coordination.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic QA/QC documentation tools.
• Strong attention to detail and steady follow through.
