QA/QC Engineer

Heilbronn Properties is hirnig a highly skilled QA/QC Engineer to join our project delivery team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in quality control, site supervision, construction execution, and residential project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the project’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) system in line with company and industry standards.
• Conduct inspections for civil works, materials, and workmanship to ensure they align with approved drawings and specifications.
• Prepare, review, and approve Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and checklists.
• Review method statements, quality procedures, and ITPs for compliance.
• Monitor ongoing site activities to ensure quality compliance at all construction stages.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers for quality-related queries and clarifications.
• Ensure timely closure of NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and manage corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain all documents related to inspections, testing, quality audits, and approvals.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management.
• Ensure material approvals, testing certificates, and compliance documents are properly filed and accessible.
• Ensure all works comply with Dubai Municipality regulations, contractual requirements, and project specifications.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits when required.
• Validate construction activities against applicable local and international standards (ASTM, BS, ISO, etc.).
• Assist the project team in resolving technical issues related to quality and execution.
• Review drawings and specifications and highlight discrepancies or quality risks.
• Participate in progress meetings and provide quality-related inputs and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Strong technical understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
• Knowledge of UAE regulations, municipality codes, and quality frameworks.

Experience Requirements

• 5–6 years of proven experience in QA/QC, quality supervision, and site execution.
• Prior experience in residential projects is essential.
• UAE experience is highly preferred due to local regulatory knowledge and project requirements.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
• Strong command of QA/QC procedures, NCR handling, ITP preparation, and inspection workflows.
• Familiarity with testing standards and laboratory coordination.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Competency in preparing technical reports, compliance documents, and inspection logs.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in inspections and documentation.
