Overview

KAD Construction LLC, a leading name in the UAE’s infrastructure and civil construction sector, is looking for a highly experienced Project Manager – Roads & Infrastructure to lead and oversee turnkey infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project execution, planning, and cost control, ensuring that all works are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all phases of roads and infrastructure projects, from inception to completion, ensuring delivery within time, cost, and quality parameters.
  • Lead the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of construction activities while adhering to contract specifications.
  • Administer and control all project documentation, including contracts, progress reports, change orders, and billing.
  • Implement and maintain a comprehensive job cost tracking system, collecting data from the field such as time sheets, daily progress reports, and variations.
  • Coordinate with Construction Managers, consultants, and subcontractors for timely submission and approval of project submittals.
  • Review and approve subcontractor payment applications, ensuring compliance with project deliverables and work progress.
  • Enforce strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards, promoting an injury-free workplace and ensuring zero-accident performance.
  • Monitor the performance of estimating and procurement functions, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Resolve project-related issues by liaising with construction teams and management.
  • Supervise and mentor site engineers and staff, providing training and performance feedback when required.
  • Conduct monthly project reviews, providing detailed reports on progress, financial status, and forecasted costs to complete.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and cost optimization.
  • Ensure all technical and operational activities comply with company standards, specifications, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSc. in Civil Engineering required).
  • Minimum 15 years of total experience in turnkey Roads and Infrastructure projects.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar Project Manager role within the UAE.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, FIDIC contracts, and local authority requirements (RTA, DEWA, DM, etc.).
  • Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and large-scale infrastructure developments.
  • Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards related to roads, utilities, and drainage systems.
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness, with the ability to handle claims, variations, and cost control.
  • Familiar with MS Project or Primavera P6, and strong proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
