We are looking for a talented Project Engineer with extensive experience in high-rise construction projects, who can manage on-site execution, coordination, and project planning with technical precision.

Position Overview

The Project Engineer will play a key role in managing and supervising all engineering and site-related activities for high-rise construction projects. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in structural, architectural, and finishing works, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and according to approved specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee day-to-day site operations for high-rise building projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Coordination: Work closely with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless coordination across all project phases.
• Technical Oversight: Review design drawings, construction plans, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Progress Monitoring: Track and report project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
• Quality Control: Ensure all works meet the required QA/QC standards and project specifications.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce and monitor adherence to site HSE standards, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
• Documentation: Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, inspection requests, and as-built documentation for management review.
• Client Interface: Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders to address technical and operational matters.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university (Master’s degree or PMP certification is an added advantage).
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in the construction of high-rise buildings, including both structural and finishing stages.
  Experience in Dubai or the GCC region is essential, with a proven record of handling large-scale, multi-story projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, and material specifications for reinforced concrete structures.
• Familiarity with local building codes, authority regulations, and permit procedures (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, etc.).
• Knowledge of post-tensioned slabs, façade systems, waterproofing, and MEP coordination in high-rise environments.
• Experience in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Primavera P6 is highly desirable.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus) for clear coordination with clients, consultants, and suppliers.

• Attention to Detail: Precision in reviewing drawings, measurements, and materials to avoid rework or delays.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize and handle multiple activities simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with civil engineering software, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital project management tools.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to work in dynamic environments and handle changing project requirements efficiently.
• Excellent planning, scheduling, and resource management abilities.
• Capable of analyzing technical drawings, identifying design discrepancies, and proposing effective solutions.
• Proven experience in managing subcontractors and supervising multi-disciplinary teams.
