Project Engineer (Construction)

Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in managing site execution, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring all construction activities align with approved plans, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all on-site construction activities and ensure projects are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Coordinate between consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely project delivery.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, track progress, and identify potential delays or resource bottlenecks.
• Review design and technical documents to ensure compliance with UAE construction codes and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections to verify quality of work and adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.
• Support project planning, including manpower, equipment, and material management.
• Participate in tendering, estimation, and quantity take-off processes as needed.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports summarizing project status, milestones, and technical issues.
• Lead coordination meetings with project stakeholders and propose solutions for technical or operational challenges.
• Ensure documentation for QA/QC procedures, work inspection requests, and material submittals is properly managed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in building construction projects within the UAE.
• In-depth understanding of structural, architectural, and MEP coordination.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and sequencing of activities.
• Familiar with Dubai Municipality and other authority regulations and approval processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to handle multi-disciplinary teams.
• Valid UAE Driving License preferred.
