Project Engineer

Technical Glass & Aluminium Co. L.L.C. (TGAC) is looking for a talented and motivated Project Engineer with strong experience in façade or construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing façade installation activities across project sites.
• Review and interpret design drawings, façade system details, and technical specifications.
• Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain timelines.
• Ensure compliance with installation methods, quality standards, and project execution procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and technical teams.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation required for project tracking.
• Support procurement, material submittals, shop drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify technical challenges and provide practical engineering solutions for façade and glazing works.
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to company installation standards on site.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Project Engineering experience, preferably in façade, aluminium, or construction projects.
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Strong technical knowledge of façade systems, aluminium fabrication, glazing, and installation procedures.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, shop drawings, and structural details.
• Experience managing fast-paced projects with strict deadlines and high-quality standards.
• Strong coordination skills between engineering, production, procurement, and site teams.
• Must be based in Dubai or willing to relocate.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to work with façade/architectural drawings.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Project).
• Working understanding of façade materials (glass, aluminium, cladding) and installation methods.
• Familiarity with project management tools is an advantage.
