Role Overview

Al Shafar Engineering LLC, is currently hiring Logistics Coordinator. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing site logistics operations, including the movement of materials, equipment, and manpower. This role also involves supporting lifting operations, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders on-site.

• Experience Required: 4–5 years (UAE construction)
• Job Type: Full-time (On-site)
• Availability: Immediate joiners preferred

Roles & Responsibilities

🚚 1. Site Logistics Coordination

• Manage daily logistics operations across construction sites
• Ensure smooth movement of:
  • Materials
  • Equipment
  • Workforce

📦 2. Material & Equipment Planning

• Plan and monitor delivery schedules
• Coordinate with suppliers and transporters
• Ensure timely availability of materials

🏗️ 3. Lifting Operations Support

• Coordinate with lifting teams
• Ensure proper planning of:
  • Crane operations
  • Material lifting activities
• Maintain safety during lifting operations

⚠️ 4. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all logistics activities follow:
  • Site safety standards
  • Project requirements
• Support safe handling of materials

🤝 5. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with:
  • Site engineers
  • Subcontractors
  • Suppliers
  • Transport teams
• Ensure smooth communication across all parties

📊 6. Tracking & Reporting

• Track deliveries and logistics activities
• Identify delays and resolve issues
• Maintain accurate records and reports

⚡ 7. Process Improvement

• Optimize logistics processes
• Improve efficiency and reduce delays on-site

Key Requirements

🏗️ Experience

• Minimum 4–5 years UAE experience in construction logistics
• Experience in:
  • Site coordination
  • Material movement
  • Logistics planning

⚙️ Technical Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of:
  • Lifting operations
  • Construction logistics workflows
• Understanding of site requirements and safety practices

💼 Core Competencies

• Strong organizational skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment
• Problem-solving mindset

📍 Mandatory Criteria

• Must be currently in United Arab Emirates
• Immediate joiners preferred
