Land Surveyor

Auto Build Construction L.L.C (ABC) is a rapidly growing construction company delivering high-quality, large-scale civil and infrastructure projects across the UAE. As we expand our project portfolio, we are hiring a highly skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our technical team.

This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy, quality, and technical integrity of our construction works – from initial site assessment to final project handover.

Key Responsibilities 

• Conduct detailed topographic, boundary, and layout surveys for civil and structural works.
• Perform precise site measurements to support excavation, foundation, structural, and finishing activities.
• Establish reference points, benchmarks, grid lines, and elevation points on-site.
• Prepare accurate survey reports, site sketches, maps, and as-built drawings.
• Maintain comprehensive survey logs, coordinates, and digital records.
• Verify accuracy of drawings received from consultants and report discrepancies.
• Efficiently operate Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, Digital Level, and Laser Instruments.
• Ensure all surveying equipment is calibrated, well-maintained, and in proper working condition.
• Work closely with site engineers, project managers, draftsmen, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with drawings.
• Provide real-time survey data to support construction sequencing and decision-making.
• Assist in resolving site-level deviations, inaccuracies, or technical issues.
• Ensure all survey work complies with project specifications, approved drawings, and UAE authority regulations.
• Conduct regular site checks to detect any deviations from design or alignment.
• Prepare as-built records for project close-out documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field.
• Professional certification in surveying is a strong advantage.
• 4–8 years of proven experience as a Land Surveyor within construction, contracting, or infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Experience with high-rise buildings, roads, utilities, or industrial projects is preferred.

Skills

• Proficient in GPS Systems, Total Station (Leica / Topcon preferred), AutoCAD & Land Surveying Software (Civil 3D, Trimble, Leica Geo Office, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of coordinate systems, leveling, triangulation, and data interpretation.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, layouts, and specifications.
• Strong analytical thinking and numerical accuracy.
• Excellent communication and team coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
