Technical Glass & Aluminium Co. L.L.C. (TGAC) is expanding its project execution team and is looking for a highly skilled Land Surveyor with solid experience in façade projects. If you have a sharp eye for precision and a passion for getting levels, lines, and layouts perfectly aligned – this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Conduct precise topographic and façade-related site surveys, ensuring all measurements meet project specifications.
- Perform setting out of façade elements, including brackets, anchor points, mullions, transoms, and glazing lines.
- Verify existing site conditions, elevations, and structural tolerances to confirm alignment with approved drawings.
- Operate and maintain surveying equipment such as Total Stations, GPS, Digital Levels, and Laser Scanners.
- Prepare and maintain accurate survey logs, field notes, sketches, and digital records.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, and Installation Teams to resolve discrepancies proactively.
- Assist in as-built documentation, ensuring all façade installations comply with design intent.
- Monitor site progress and conduct periodic verification surveys for alignment, plumbness, and level accuracy.
- Report variances immediately and recommend corrective solutions to avoid rework or delays.
- Ensure all survey activities follow quality, safety, and technical standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in façade surveying, preferably in aluminium, glazing, or cladding projects.
- Proficient in the use of Total Stations (Leica/Topcon), GPS systems, laser levels, and scanning tools.
- Strong understanding of façade installation sequencing and tolerance requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, survey data processing, and basic GIS applications.
- Strong knowledge of setting-out practices, control points, grid systems, and leveling principles.
- Must be locally available in UAE for immediate interview and joining.
Technical Skills
- Advanced use of surveying instruments and calibration procedures
- Ability to interpret architectural & façade shop drawings
- Competence in coordinate geometry calculations (COGO)
- Experience preparing as-built drawings and survey reports
- Good knowledge of digital data transfer, CAD layering, and station setup
