About the Role

CPECC is seeking a qualified and experienced Land Surveyor to join our project team in the UAE. This position plays a critical role in ensuring project precision and adherence to engineering design specifications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting accurate land and topographic surveys, preparing survey data and reports, and coordinating with engineering and construction teams to ensure proper implementation of project layouts and levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction site surveys in accordance with project requirements.
  • Establish, verify, and maintain survey control points and benchmarks on-site.
  • Operate and maintain surveying instruments including Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and related software.
  • Prepare survey drawings, as-built data, and layout reports using AutoCAD or other relevant software.
  • Verify alignment, elevation, and coordinates for foundations, structures, and utilities before construction.
  • Collaborate with site engineers, civil teams, and project managers to provide accurate survey data.
  • Conduct quantity calculations and ensure accuracy in setting out works.
  • Perform cross-checks to detect and correct errors or discrepancies in measurements.
  • Ensure survey data documentation and maintain logs for project reference.
  • Adhere to company HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards while performing all field activities.
  • Support senior engineers with survey-related inputs for design revisions and progress reporting.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience as a Land Surveyor in construction or oil & gas projects.
  • Proven experience in site surveying, layout work, and topographical data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, levels, and coordinates systems.

Proficiency with:

  • Total Station (Leica, Trimble, or Topcon)
  • GPS and Auto Level Instruments
  • AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent survey software
  • Familiarity with UAE local authority standards and site procedures.
  • Valid UAE driving license preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Excellent command of surveying tools and equipment calibration.
  • Strong skills in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and surveying software for report generation.
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical and site-related survey issues.
  • Experience in quantity take-off and as-built survey documentation.
  • Understanding of construction tolerances, layout precision, and coordinate systems (WGS84, UTM, etc.).

Work Conditions

  • Location: UAE (Exact project site will be shared with shortlisted candidates)
  • Environment: Outdoor fieldwork on construction or oil & gas project sites
  • Schedule: Full-time, based on project timelines and site operations
