Position Overview:
Cemex UAE is hiring a highly motivated and strategic Key Accounts Manager – Cement to join our team in Dubai, UAE. Reporting directly to the Cement Commercial Director, this role is responsible for promoting Cemex cementitious solutions to the ready-mix and contractors’ segment, managing key client relationships, and driving business growth while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ready-mix producers and major contractors to promote Cemex’s cementitious products and solutions.
- Coordinate with commercial, operational, and technical teams to ensure seamless customer service and delivery performance.
- Analyze daily cement supply trends, monitor demand forecasts, and track upcoming orders.
- Evaluate customer inquiries, project specifications, and pricing strategies to ensure competitive offers.
- Negotiate and close high-value cement project deals while ensuring profitability.
- Drive repeat business and customer retention through superior service and value delivery.
- Coordinate daily cement dispatch and logistics to meet client requirements.
- Prepare and analyze monthly sales progress reports, highlighting market trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Credit Analyst and Finance Team to ensure timely payment collections and manage credit risks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
- Provide documentation and information to government and regulatory authorities as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- A background in Sales & Marketing will be considered an added advantage.
- Proven experience in cement sales, construction materials, or the building materials industry within the UAE or GCC region.
- Strong understanding of cementitious products, specifications, and performance standards (both local and international).
- Familiar with UAE regulations and compliance processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP systems.
- Ability to analyze market data, sales performance, and customer feedback effectively.
