Imdad Group is hiring a Field HSE Lead/Manager to oversee health, safety, and environmental operations for oil & gas field projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Engineering, Science, or HSE, possess 10–15 years of HSE experience (including at least 5 years in a lead role during shutdowns or turnarounds), and have certifications such as NEBOSH IGC and ISO 45001/14001 Lead Auditor. The role involves developing and implementing HSE strategies, leading safety teams, conducting audits, managing incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or HSE discipline (from a recognized institution authorized to grant academic degrees).
- 10–15 years of overall HSE experience in turnarounds, shutdowns, fabrication, installation, or commissioning within the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a lead or managerial HSE role overseeing a team of HSE professionals.
- Proven experience managing major turnaround/shutdown projects as HSE Manager or HSE In-charge.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent (subject to ADNOC Group approval).
- Lead Auditor certification in ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 or equivalent.
- Incident Investigation Technique training.
- Additional HSE certifications and ADNOC-approved courses will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance HSE performance in line with EMDAD’s vision, mission, and values.
- Lead a team of Safety Officers, providing technical guidance and leadership to ensure HSE excellence across all field operations.
- Promote a proactive safety culture, encouraging staff to identify, report, and resolve incidents, hazards, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct regular site HSE audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HSE management systems and ADNOC requirements.
- Prepare and review Project HSE Plans, JSA/TRA/ARA, and ensure all safety precautions are implemented for high-risk activities (e.g., confined space entry, flare tip inspections, heavy lifting, working at heights, etc.).
- Ensure strict compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) and safety procedures for all site personnel, including subcontractors.
- Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
- Oversee the HSE reporting system and ensure timely submission of performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure key HSE performance indicators (KPIs) are tracked, analyzed, and reported to maintain continual improvement.
- Drive compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards across all project sites.
