We are expanding our team and seeking an experienced Document Controller to manage and maintain critical project documentation for our high-value contracts in the Oil & Gas, Data Center, and MEP industries.
Position Overview
The Document Controller will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and controlling all project documentation to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company and client standards.
You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to streamline documentation processes, enhance workflow efficiency, and maintain version control for all technical and administrative records.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain project documentation in line with company and client procedures.
- Ensure document accuracy, quality, and consistency across all departments.
- Track and update drawings, material submittals, and correspondence logs.
- Coordinate document flow between internal teams, consultants, and clients.
- Maintain an organized archive of digital and hard-copy records.
- Prepare transmittals, ensure version control, and assist in audit readiness.
- Support project teams with timely retrieval of required documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (UAE/MOFA attested) – mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Document Controller within a major Oil & Gas service provider (Fabrication, MEP, or System Integrations).
- Familiarity with Data Centers, Electric Substations, and MEP industries is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
