Job Summary

ADMAC AKM Group of Companies (Drillcon Division) is seeking a qualified Civil Technical Engineer to join our NDM Project team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical supervision, coordination, and quality control of all civil engineering works related to the project.

This role requires strong technical expertise, on-site experience, and excellent communication skills to ensure smooth coordination between consultants, subcontractors, and project management teams. Immediate availability is a must.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure design intent and compliance.
  • Coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams for successful project execution.
  • Prepare and review method statements, technical submittals, and shop drawings relevant to the NDM Project.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, verify quality standards, and ensure adherence to HSE regulations.
  • Identify and resolve technical discrepancies or design conflicts promptly in coordination with engineering and site teams.
  • Ensure that all civil works comply with local codes, authority requirements, and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team for material submittals, approvals, and timely delivery of construction materials.
  • Maintain technical documentation, inspection reports, and site records for internal reporting and client updates.
  • Assist the project management team in preparing progress reports and updating project schedules.
  • Ensure alignment with company QA/QC procedures and contribute to continuous improvement in project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
  • 3–5 years of experience in civil construction within the UAE or Gulf region.
  • Prior work experience on infrastructure or mixed-use development projects preferred.
  • Experience in NDM or similar large-scale projects is an advantage.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant civil engineering software tools.
  • Strong understanding of UAE construction codes, specifications, and local authority standards.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Must be currently residing in the UAE and available to join immediately.
  • Experience with local permitting authorities and documentation processes is a plus.
