Dubai Consultants L.L.C is hiring a Civil Engineer (Supervision Consultant) for an immediate placement at one of our prestigious projects located in Dubai Hills, Dubai. We are looking for a technically strong, detail-oriented professional with extensive UAE site supervision experience who can ensure quality, compliance, and timely execution of construction works.
Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Key duties include:
- Conduct daily site inspections and verify construction activities according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Review engineering submittals, material approvals, shop drawings, and RFIs.
- Ensure all site work is executed in line with project standards and engineering best practices.
- Participate in technical, progress, and coordination meetings with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Prepare and review daily/weekly progress reports and highlight delays, risks, or quality issues.
- Assist in project monitoring, scheduling updates, and progress tracking.
- Monitor workmanship quality and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, site safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct field testing, material inspections, and quality checks as per project requirements.
- Review and validate change orders, variation claims, and payment applications.
- Provide recommendations to the supervision team on technical or commercial deviations.
- Support design conflict resolutions and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- 5-10 years of UAE experience in site supervision within consultancy firms.
- Solid understanding of UAE construction standards, authority regulations, and project workflows.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge in civil engineering and site execution.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other engineering tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
- Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Familiarity with authority guidelines (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, RTA, etc.) is an advantage.
