AutoCAD Draftsman – Structural Steel

Job Overview:

Al Deraa Structural Steelis hiring a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman with strong expertise in structural steel detailing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed drawings for steel structures, collaborating closely with engineers and project teams to ensure designs meet project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed structural steel drawings using AutoCAD and Tekla Structures.
• Collaborate with engineers, site teams, and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Review and update drawings based on design changes and client requirements.
• Ensure all drawings follow company standards, local regulations, and industry best practices.
• Assist in the creation of material take-offs and fabrication documents.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman, preferably in structural steel detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Tekla Structures.
• Strong understanding of steel structures, detailing standards, and construction practices.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
• Attention to detail, precision, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Skills & Competencies:

• Technical drafting and 3D modeling skills.
• Knowledge of fabrication and erection processes.
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with safety standards in structural steel projects.
