Document Controller โ€“ Construction

LIFCO Group, is urgently hiring a Document Controller for their project operations.

Role Overview

This is a multi-functional Document Controller role, combining:

  • Document management
  • Procurement coordination (LPO handling)
  • Site reporting and record-keeping

The position requires someone who can manage both administrative and site documentation tasks efficiently.


Detailed Roles & Responsibilities

๐Ÿ“‘ 1. Document Control & Filing

  • Maintain proper document control systems
  • Ensure all documents are:
    • Filed correctly
    • Easily accessible
    • Properly tracked

๐Ÿงพ 2. LPO (Local Purchase Order) Management

  • Prepare and issue Local Purchase Orders (LPOs)
  • Maintain records of procurement transactions
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams

๐Ÿšš 3. Material Tracking

  • Record materials delivered to site
  • Maintain logs of:
    • Delivery notes
    • Material quantities
  • Ensure accurate inventory tracking

๐Ÿ‘ท 4. Manpower & Attendance Records

  • Track daily manpower attendance
  • Maintain labor records and reports
  • Support site administration

๐Ÿ“ฉ 5. Correspondence Management

  • Handle:
    • Company letters
    • Emails
    • Official communications
  • Ensure proper documentation and tracking

๐Ÿ“Š 6. Reporting Using MS Excel

  • Prepare reports using:
    • Excel formulas
    • Data tracking sheets
  • Maintain accurate records for:
    • Materials
    • Manpower
    • Procurement

Key Requirements

๐Ÿ“ Availability

  • Must be currently in United Arab Emirates
  • Immediate joiners are highly preferred

  • Experience in:
    • Construction industry
    • Site documentation
    • Procurement or administrative roles

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel:
    • Formulas
    • Data tracking
    • Reporting
  • Knowledge of:
    • Document control systems
    • Filing and record management
