Senior Draughtsman – Infrastructure

W are hiring a well experienced Infrastructure Draughtsman to join our engineering team. The role involves preparing detailed drawings, performing technical analysis, and supporting project teams with AutoCAD, GIS, and 3D modeling for infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare precise 2D and 3D drawings for roads, drainage, utilities, and urban development projects.
• Develop GIS-based maps and perform spatial data analysis to support planning and asset management.
• Use CAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, or similar software to produce high-quality technical drawings.
• Review and interpret design documents, survey data, and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist engineers and project managers with calculations, designs, and project documentation.
• Maintain proper version control, filing, and documentation of all technical drawings.
• Support quality assurance by verifying drawings against project standards and specifications.
• Contribute to technical reports, design presentations, and project submissions.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Surveying, or related field.
• Professional certification in CAD, GIS, or 3D modeling is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of UAE and regional infrastructure standards and regulations is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum 5–8 years as an Infrastructure Draughtsman or similar role in civil/infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in roads, drainage, utilities, and urban development projects.
• Hands-on experience with GIS, 3D modeling, and engineering analysis tools.
• UAE project experience is highly preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, or similar software.
• Strong GIS skills (ArcGIS, QGIS) and spatial data analysis.
• Experience with 3D modeling and visualization of infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methods.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent technical communication skills.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability to project requirements.
