Senior HR Recruitment Officer

Al Geemi Contracting Co. L.L.C is a leading construction company in the UAE, specializing in major roads, infrastructure, utilities, and civil works projects. We are urgently seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Recruitment Officer to join our Human Resources team and support large-scale hiring needs for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Job Purpose

The Senior HR Recruitment Officer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, ensuring the timely hiring of qualified candidates for technical, engineering, and site-based roles. The role requires strong industry knowledge, advanced sourcing capabilities, and the ability to manage high-volume recruitment in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the complete hiring cycle-from manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, to final selection.
  • Source qualified candidates for roads, infrastructure, utilities, civil engineering, and construction roles.
  • Collaborate with project managers, department heads, and HR teams to understand staffing needs.
  • Develop job descriptions, job ads, and recruitment timelines for approved positions.
  • Conduct behavioral and competency-based interviews to assess candidate suitability.
  • Shortlist candidates and coordinate technical interviews with project stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of talent for current and future project requirements.

HR Coordination & Documentation

  • Prepare employment offers, appointment letters, and onboarding documentation.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment logs, applicant tracking systems, and candidate databases.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and company recruitment policies.
  • Manage pre-employment checks, reference verification, and document validation.
  • Support mobilization activities, visa processing, and joining formalities.

Strategic & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain recruitment dashboards, weekly reports, and hiring KPIs.
  • Develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent locally and internationally.
  • Coordinate with manpower agencies, job portals, and recruitment partners.
  • Participate in career fairs, recruitment campaigns, and mass hiring drives.
  • Guide junior HR staff and ensure adherence to recruitment procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (CIPD, SHRM, CHRP) are an advantage.

Experience

  • 12-15 years of proven experience in HR Recruitment within a
  • Roads, Infrastructure, and Civil Construction company in the UAE.
  • Strong experience recruiting: Engineers (Civil, QA/QC, HSE, MEP, Roads & Infrastructure), Site staff & supervisors, Technical specialists &Administrative & support staff
  • Experience handling large-scale project recruitment and mobilization.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of UAE construction job market.
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRMS.
  • Excellent sourcing skills (LinkedIn, job portals, databases, networks).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and recruitment tools.
