IT Support

Full Time

ATLAS GROUP, a respected industry leader with over 40 years of global expertise in telecom, security solutions, crisis management, optronics, and general contracting, is expanding its technical team. We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and provide high-quality technical assistance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide end-user support for hardware, software, networks, and system applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve IT-related incidents through phone, email, remote access tools, and onsite visits.
  • Ensure timely closure of support tickets with a strong focus on service quality and user satisfaction.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems, applications, and supporting software.

System Administration

  • Manage user accounts, security permissions, and access rights in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise tools.
  • Support backup operations and monitor data integrity across systems.
  • Perform routine system updates, security patches, and maintenance activities.

Infrastructure & Network Support

  • Assist in maintaining local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi configurations, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Support IT infrastructure components including switches, routers, telecommunication devices, and server environments.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and escalate complex problems to senior engineers when needed.

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure all systems comply with IT security standards and company policies.
  • Monitor security alerts, antivirus status, and vulnerability issues.
  • Support implementation of cybersecurity controls and incident response procedures.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of support activities, configurations, and incident resolutions.
  • Prepare reports on system performance, recurring issues, and improvement recommendations.
  • Document procedures, user guides, and knowledgebase content for internal use.

Qualifications 

  • Diploma or equivalent certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Additional certifications (A+, Network+, MCITP, MCSA, ITIL) are an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on IT support experience in a corporate or technical environment.
  • Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft 365 administration, hardware troubleshooting, and enterprise IT tools.
  • Exposure to networking concepts and IT infrastructure is highly preferred.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, user management, and desktop support.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and IT peripherals.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, remote desktop tools, and system monitoring tools.
  • Understanding of basic networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, switches, Wi-Fi).
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset.
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
