Structural Engineer

Job Summary

The Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and reviewing structural components for prefab modular buildings, steel structures, and cold-formed steel (CFS) systems. The role involves technical design work, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with local authority regulations and international codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and validate structural design calculations, design reports, drawings, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with architects, project engineers, fabrication teams, and construction departments to ensure full integration of structural design requirements.
• Review and verify shop drawings for accuracy, technical completeness, and compliance with project specifications.
• Ensure all designs adhere to local authority regulations, international design codes, and project requirements.
• Provide technical support during fabrication and erection, including addressing site queries and resolving technical challenges.
• Conduct structural analysis for hot rolled steel, cold formed steel structures, and connection design.
• Participate in design meetings, progress reviews, and provide engineering solutions for structural issues.
• Inspect site works where required and ensure structural integrity throughout project phases.
• Support in authority submissions and documentation requirements.

Experience & Qualifications Requirements

• M.Tech / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Strong educational background in structural analysis and design.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction, Steel fabrication, Cold Formed Steel (CFS) design & Modular or prefab. building projects (preferred)

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, STRAP, AutoCAD, IDEA Statica, and other structural design software.
• Strong expertise in Hot rolled steel structure design, Cold formed steel design, Structural connection design, Concrete foundation design, Manual structural calculations
• Knowledge of international design codes (AISC, BS, EN, etc.) and local authority submission requirements.
• Understanding of fabrication processes, construction site execution, and modular construction practices.

• Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and technical judgment.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple design tasks.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams.
