General Manager – Facade Division

Bosco Group is hiring an experienced General Manager (Façade Division) to lead operations, drive strategic growth, and manage high-profile façade projects across the UAE and GCC region. This is a senior leadership role suited for a visionary professional with extensive façade engineering expertise and strong operational management skills.

Position Overview

The General Manager will be responsible for leading the façade division’s business operations, project delivery, performance management, client relations, and strategic expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring decades of technical knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to manage complex façade projects such as high-rise towers, curtain wall systems, and advanced façade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and implement business strategies for the façade division to achieve revenue, growth, and profitability targets.
• Provide leadership across engineering, project management, production, procurement, and installation teams.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and resource allocation.
• Enhance organizational structure, operational efficiency, and team performance.

Project & Technical Management

• Lead large-scale façade projects from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with client requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Review and approve façade system designs, specifications, engineering calculations, and technical submissions.
• Ensure timely project execution within approved cost and schedule.
• Manage risk assessments, project controls, contract management, variation claims, and technical problem-solving.

Client, Consultant & Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Represent the company in high-level meetings, negotiations, and technical reviews.
• Ensure seamless communication and stakeholder satisfaction throughout all project stages.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee production operations, fabrication processes, and installation methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with international façade standards, industry best practices, and local authority regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality, performance, innovation, and safety.

Business Development

• Identify new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships within the façade and aluminum industry.
• Lead tendering processes, pricing strategies, technical proposals, and contract negotiations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Engineering or Business (preferred).
• Valid certifications in façade engineering or project management are an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

• 25+ years of proven experience in façade engineering, façade contracting, or façade manufacturing.
• Experience delivering large-scale façade projects including:
• High-rise towers
• Unitized & stick curtain wall systems
• Spider glazing & ACP cladding
• Skylights, louvers, and steel-glass structures
• Strong background managing technical teams, operations, project managers, and production teams.
• Demonstrated success in leading complex façade projects in the UAE or GCC.
• Age requirement: 45–55 years

Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of façade design, engineering, fabrication, and installation.
• Strong understanding of aluminum systems, structural glazing, steel-glass engineering, and advanced façade technologies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, engineering software, project planning tools, and façade analysis systems.
• Strong command of contract documents, technical standards, shop drawings, and QA/QC systems.
