Position Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of large-scale architectural and engineering projects. This role requires exceptional technical expertise, leadership ability, and in-depth knowledge of Dubai’s local authority regulations and approval processes. The ideal candidate will oversee project execution from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with contractual, design, and quality standards while managing stakeholder expectations and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of assigned architectural and engineering projects, from initiation through to handover.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams to ensure project objectives, schedules, and budgets are met.
• Review and approve project plans, designs, and specifications in alignment with client and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee project documentation, contracts, correspondence, and progress reports.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Serve as the main point of contact between clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
• Ensure that all project activities comply with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, DEWA, and other relevant authority requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure design and quality compliance.
• Manage project resources, including staffing, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Prepare and present project status updates and reports to senior management.
• Drive the team towards achieving project milestones within defined timelines and budgets.
• Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related discipline (Master’s Degree preferred).
• Minimum 20 years of experience in the architecture and engineering consultancy sector, with proven project management experience in Dubai.
• Strong understanding of Dubai Authority approval processes (DM, DDA, RTA, Trakhees, DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, high-profile architectural or mixed-use development projects.
• Proven record in project leadership, coordination, and delivery within consultancy environments.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes, design regulations, and construction practices.
• Currently based in the UAE and available for immediate joining.

• Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly under pressure.
• Financial Acumen: Experience in project budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Software Proficiency: Skilled in MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Leadership: Inspires team performance, maintains accountability, and ensures quality and compliance in all deliverables.
