Senior Quantity Surveyor (2 Positions)

Position Overview

We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors to join our dynamic team. The role involves managing all cost-related aspects of construction projects, from initial estimates to final accounts, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and tender documents for villa and building construction projects.
• Conduct cost analysis, project budgeting, and value engineering to achieve cost optimization.
• Evaluate and manage subcontractor quotations, procurement packages, and material cost comparisons.
• Review and verify contract documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate cost forecasting.
• Prepare and review interim payment applications, progress valuations, and variation claims.
• Monitor project expenditures and advise on cost control measures and financial risks.
• Participate in site meetings to coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients regarding cost and contract issues.
• Handle post-contract administration, including final account preparation, change order management, and claim analysis.
• Maintain accurate project cost reports, records, and documentation for audit and project closeout.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contract requirements, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in villa and building construction projects within the UAE.
• UAE work experience is mandatory.
• Must possess a valid UAE driving license and have a personal vehicle.
• Excellent understanding of cost control principles, contract conditions (FIDIC), and project management practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and Quantity Surveying software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar).
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
