About the Role
NBTC Group is seeking an experienced and organized Store Keeper to manage the efficient handling, storage, and documentation of materials and equipment for our ongoing projects in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in inventory control, materials management, and warehouse operations, preferably within the construction or industrial sectors.
This position is crucial to ensuring seamless project execution through accurate stock management and timely supply coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual and computerized systems.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile physical stock with system data.
- Ensure all materials are stored safely and in accordance with company and HSE standards.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and project teams to meet material demands.
- Monitor stock levels and notify management when reorder thresholds are reached.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to prevent shortages and losses.
- Prepare and submit stock movement reports, consumption summaries, and material usage logs.
- Supervise material handling operations and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support the asset tracking process and maintain equipment issuance records.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational qualification preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Store Keeper or in inventory management, ideally within construction, oil & gas, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, material classification, and documentation standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems (SAP preferred).
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and record-keeping abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of HSE practices and material handling safety.
