Accountant

About the Role

Glazinum Fab Metal Doors & Windows Manufacturing L.L.C. is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations for our Dubai office.

The candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting and VAT standards. This position is ideal for someone with solid experience in construction or manufacturing accounting who can work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for all transactions (sales, purchases, payments, receipts).
• Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger adjustments.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Track job costing, material usage, and project expenses for ongoing construction projects.
• Handle petty cash and maintain expense records.
• Process payroll in coordination with HR and ensure compliance with UAE labor laws.
• Prepare and file VAT returns as per UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements.
• Support auditors during internal and external audits by providing documentation and clarifications.
• Monitor cash flow, assist in budget planning, and report on financial performance.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to validate supplier invoices and delivery documentation.
• Ensure that all financial operations follow company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE – preferably in construction, fabrication, or manufacturing.
• Proven understanding of UAE VAT laws and financial reporting standards.
• Experience in job costing, inventory control, and WIP (work-in-progress) accounting.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Knowledge of payroll preparation and bank reconciliations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Currently residing in the UAE – candidates on visit visa, cancelled visa, or available to join immediately will be given preference.
