Construction Manager

Job Description

Ssangyong Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage the execution of a high-rise building project in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all on-site construction activities, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all construction activities from mobilization to project handover.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure construction works align with approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to achieve project milestones.
• Collaborate closely with Project Management, QA/QC, and Planning departments.
• Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Track site progress and prepare regular reports for management and clients.
• Control project costs and ensure effective use of resources.
• Resolve technical and on-site challenges efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, and other relevant local authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10–15 years of total UAE experience, including at least 5 years in a Construction Manager role.
• Demonstrated experience in high-rise building construction from start to completion.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project planning, and coordination.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes and regulations.

Important Note
