We are urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Infrastructure Planning Engineer to join our team. This is an immediate requirement for a professional who can manage planning activities for ongoing and upcoming infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain detailed project schedules for infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, drainage systems, and other civil works.
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Design Teams to ensure project timelines are realistic and achievable.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and propose corrective measures to keep projects on track.
- Prepare periodic progress reports, including Gantt charts, resource allocation, and milestone tracking for senior management.
- Review contractor schedules and provide feedback to ensure alignment with project objectives and deadlines.
- Assist in planning and coordinating resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Support management in project planning meetings, providing technical input and updates.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure planning within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar project management and scheduling software.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure project execution, including roads, drainage, utilities, and related civil works.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Immediate availability or ability to join on short notice is mandatory.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in reviewing contractor and subcontractor schedules.
- Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and local authority approvals.
- Strong reporting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
