Site Inspector (Architecture)

Job Description

RSP Dubai is seeking a highly skilled Site Inspector (Architecture) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that architectural works on-site are executed accurately, safely, and in accordance with approved design drawings, specifications, and UAE construction standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections of architectural works, including finishes, partitions, doors, windows, ceilings, facades, and other related elements.
• Ensure that all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain daily/weekly site inspection reports, documenting progress, discrepancies, and quality issues.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Verify materials, workmanship, and installation methods on-site against project requirements and UAE construction codes.
• Conduct pre-commissioning inspections, handover checks, and ensure proper documentation for client approvals.
• Identify potential risks, defects, or deviations early and recommend solutions to ensure timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Inspector in architectural or building construction projects within the UAE.
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, specifications, and detailing.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards, codes, and authority requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related software is an advantage.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify discrepancies and ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and reporting skills to interact effectively with project teams and clients.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
