About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Executive with a strong background in the construction industry to lead and manage all core HR functions within our organization. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of UAE labor laws, proven experience in employee relations, and the ability to align HR strategies with the company’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Management
- Partner with senior leadership to design and implement HR strategies that support long-term business objectives.
- Develop manpower plans aligned with project timelines and business expansion needs.
- Contribute to the creation and monitoring of annual HR budgets, ensuring cost-effective personnel management.
2. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for staff, technical, and site-based roles.
- Liaise with department heads to understand manpower requirements and develop sourcing strategies.
- Oversee visa processing, onboarding, and induction for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into company culture.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in a fair and timely manner.
- Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive workplace culture across all levels.
- Conduct employee engagement programs, satisfaction surveys, and welfare initiatives.
4. Performance Management
- Implement and manage the company’s performance appraisal system.
- Work with line managers to set measurable KPIs and monitor performance outcomes.
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate upskilling programs.
5. Compensation & Benefits
- Collaborate with the Payroll Officer to ensure accurate salary processing, leave management, and benefits administration.
- Benchmark compensation structures to maintain competitiveness within the UAE construction market.
- Manage employee insurance, gratuity calculations, and end-of-service settlements.
6. HR Policy, Compliance & Administration
- Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures in line with UAE Labour Law.
- Ensure full compliance with MOL, MOHRE, and immigration regulations.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation, employee files, and confidential records.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics for management review.
7. Leadership & Team Development
- Supervise junior HR staff and guide them on best practices.
- Foster teamwork and professional growth within the HR department.
- Serve as a role model of ethical leadership, professionalism, and accountability.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of HR experience in the construction or contracting industry (UAE experience required).
- Strong knowledge of UAE labour laws, visa processes, and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software systems.
- Leadership qualities with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
